Unknown IP not blocked

    I just set up the blocker and chose that every country is blocked, except a few ones. It works, as long as the IP is in a known country. But access from unknown IPs (tried one from Kuwait) is not blocked.

    Something wrong with my settings, or are unknown IPs never blocked?

    Hi,

    If the IP address is not linked to a country in the Maxmind database the plugin has no way of knowing which country the IP belongs to I am afraid.

    Hi Pascal,

    Thanks for your reply. Yes, I understand that. But could there not be an option that unknown country IPs are blocked? That would be how I’d like to set it up. I could still put certain IP ranges on the whitelist manually, if necessary.
