Mobile site not showing in mobile browser – white screen

    Hi Team,

    Everything seems to work fine from a plugin perspective, but when I try to open the website on mobile, it is showing nothing, only a blank white screen. Plz help

    Hello @syconet

    Thank you for contacting us, It seems you are using the AMP plugin in Reader Mode with Twenty Twenty One theme.

    As we checked your site for AMP pages, we found that its working correctly but it can be customized to improve it’s overall looks such as theme color, logo, etc.

    When we checked your site it seems that the non-AMP pages of your sites are appearing blank and not the AMP pages.

    Eg: If you open a page on mobile without ?amp=1 parameter at end it appears blank

    non-AMP page

    If you open url with ?amp=1 parameter in URL

    AMP Page

    Your AMP pages are working as expected there might be something broken on your non-AMP pages since there is nothing loading on the non-AMP pages leading to a white screen.

    I will recommend debugging your non-AMP pages and making sure it works correcly.

    Since the issue is not with the AMP pages, we can’t be more of an assistance on this one!

    Thanks for the reply.

    Actually, it was working before and it stopped working when I disabled the plugin and change the theme. I will try to troubleshoot again and see.

    Also in the dev console in Chrome, I’m able to see the mobile version without any issue (non-amp)

    it might be a cache issue, we are still seeing the white page on the non-AMP page, Can you please clear your site cache?

    Once the page loads correctly it will also load javascript which redirects mobile users to the AMP version of the same page, if you have enabled Mobile redirection from AMP plugin settings.

    Thanks, let me check what else can be done. I have already cleared the cache.

    Update: Disabling “W3 Total Cache” worked for me. Thanks for the help

    Glad you are able to find the real cause of the issue, I will recommend contacting W3 Total Cache support as they might be help you fix this issue.

    since the issue is not with AMP plugin I will mark this topic as resolved.
