Looks like I’m not the only one having display issues. Are you working on finding a solution?
Hi @cgraphik, apologies for the delay here. This is definitely weird. Were you able to clear any caching and flush permalinks? See if that makes a difference.
Let me know how it goes. We’d be glad to help you out further.
Hi @abzlevelup,
Sorry for my late reply, I did not receive the email notification.
I cleared the cache and flush permalinks, but it still doesn’t work.
I’ve already spent quite a bit of time trying to fix the problem, it will be faster for me to recreate the events.
I keep finger crossed, hoping that the new events created will not disappear!
It would be great if you have a lasting solution.
Thanks
Hi @cgraphik, no worries here. Let’s see, I suspect that it could also have something to do with the third-party SEO plugin you’re using here. Were you able to test for conflicts?
To be safe, we’d recommend conducting these tests on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.
Yes, recreating the events could also be the solution. However, you’re right that’s not a permanent solution. I’d need any findings you can share with me. It would be really helpful.
Please do keep me posted.
Hi @abzlevelup
I tried to deactivate then reactivate the plugins, it does not change anything.

Hi @cgraphik
Could you try manually updating The Events Calendar and check if that makes a difference?
Moreover, what was the previous version you used before you updated the plugin last December 20? I’d like to confirm if you’re using the pre-6.0 version.
Hi @d0153,
manually updating the plugin doesn’t make a difference 🙁
It still doesn’t work!
I’m sorry, I can’t remember which was the previous version.

Hi @cgraphik
Thanks for your response. Would it be possible for you to set up a staging version of your live site and try to re-do the migration from it? This is to recreate the proper event data and should fix the 404 issues.
Here are the steps to revert and re-do the migration:
- Update to the latest versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro.
- Remove any un-needed draft events and empty the Trash.
- Install and activate the Code Snippets plugin.
- Add this snippet and run it once (be sure it does not stay activated).
- Go to Events > Settings > Upgrades and go through the migration process again.
Please re-do the migration on your staging site.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi @cgraphik
I hope you are well. I wanted to follow up about the issue you encountered.
Were you able to try re-doing the migration?
Hi @d0153,
this issue is on a client website. It’s cheaper for him to recreate the events than to let me spending time trying to fix the problem.
So no solution found, but it is OK, because there were not to many events to recreate.
Thanks
