WooCommerce not sending any emails to client

Hi everyone,

My WooCommerce Store is not sending any emails to client when they order. I, as the store owner, get all emails I am supposed to get.

I installed WP Mail Log to log and debug, but can’t identify any errors. See this screenshot of the log: https://abload.de/img/emaillog2ieg8.png

I checked several different emails for the role of the customer, but all failed.

WooCommerce -> Settings -> Emails -> Manage -> Enable this email notification checkbox is set on.

Perhaps a conflict is blocking the emails from being generated. Can you check if the issue persists with the Storefront theme activated and all plugins except for WooCommerce and your payment gateway deactivated?

We have a detailed guide on doing a conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

If you can’t do this on your live site, I’d recommend creating a staging site. If your host doesn’t offer that option, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

Thanks, Amir, for your response. I created a duplicate of the page, deactivated every plugin, except for WooCommerce and WooCommerce PayPal, completed an order and recreated the scenario described above (unfortunately). I, as the store owner received an email, the email address entered as customer-email received nothing.

Hi @jaluki

I understand that after switching to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce and WooCommerce Paypal plugins are enabled, the customers are still not receiving the Order Confirmation Email, is that correct?

As a first step, please check this support documentation why no emails are sending after receiving an order.

Additionally, I’d like to understand your site properly, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

This could be due to caching, as the System Status report shows a lot of caching activity. Can you please have your host purge the cache from the following plugins and disable them temporarily?
