    I’m also getting this warning after upgrading to 2.02:

    DataTables warning: table id=tablepress-2 – Incorrect column count. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/18

    The warning only shows up on mobile. After reading other posts about this, I did fix some faulty HTML, hoping that would do the trick. I ran it through the validator and no longer have any HTML errors (yay!) but unfortunately I’m still getting the warning message.

    I also checked the table in HTML and the column count appears to be correct.

    Any other tips or ideas for how to fix this?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    From what I can see, this is caused by the Auto Ad insertion of the ezoic plugin that you are using. This is inserting ads in the middle of the table, and it uses combined cells for that (the same as if you were to use #colspan# in the table. You will have to turn off ezoic auto ad insertion for this table or page, I’m afraid. It will not be possible to use the table’s visitor features with this table otherwise.
