Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
Just to confirm: Have you already updated to TablePress 2.0.1? It contains a few fixes that might also help you, compared to TablePress 2.0.
If you are using TablePress 2.0.1, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site, if possible. Could you therefore please get in touch via email (the address is on https://tablepress.org/impressum/ )? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!
Regards,
Tobias
Hi Tobias, thanks for the quick reply. Yes we are using the latest version. I’ll contact you via email in a minute.
Hi there,
having the exactly same issue with 2.0.1
Using browser: Vivaldi (latest version)
With other browsers no problems. But would be cool, if it works again with Vivaldi.
So if you have a solution, please post it here.
Thanks!
Hi @tyf2000,
sorry to hear that you are having trouble.
I don’t have experience with Vivaldi, but could you maybe check if you are seeing any error message in the browser’s error log console, which you can reach via the Developer Tools?
Regards,
Tobias
Hi Tobias,
this is what I get when opening an existing table or after creating a new one:

Hi,
thanks a lot! I’m a bit confused as to why these errors suggest that the first character of those three JavaScript file is a . (which it isn’t…).
What happens when you click on those three JS files to open them, do they look like JavaScript code, or do you maybe get an error screen?
Regards,
Tobias
This is behind the first JS File:
(()=>{“use strict”;const e=window.wp.i18n;postboxes.add_postbox_toggles(pagenow),document.getElementById(“tablepress-page”).addEventListener(“click”,(t=>{if(t.target)return t.target.matches(“.delete-link”)?confirm((0,e._n)(“Do you really want to delete this table?”,”Do you really want to delete these tables?”,1,”tablepress”))?void window?.tp?.helpers?.unsaved_changes?.unset?.():void t.preventDefault():void 0}))})();
The others have around 100.000 Characters.. But actually they are looking “good” so far.
Hi,
thanks! That’s what I had hoped for! This looks correct to me. I have no idea why Vivaldi is complaining here then 🙁 You are not seeing these script errors with other browsers, right?
Regards,
Tobias
Correct. With other browsers no problems or errors.
I can use another browser of course, but still strange that these errors appears now after updating to TP 2 / 2.0.1
I will try again with a very fresh Vivaldi and TP installation on another PC later. Maybe this is working.
Has @emimuradxd still this problem too? And also with Vivaldi Browser?
So.. I made a new install of Vivaldi and everything is working again! 🙂
No errors or problems anymore.
@tyf2000 No, but we’ve figured it was our own issue with the server team. Happy to hear yours has been solved though! Cheers!
Hi @tyf2000,
great! Good to hear that Vivaldi is also working now. Really weird caching glitch, maybe…
@emimuradxd: Thanks for the update and info!
Best wishes,
Tobias
P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
