Space between footer and body

<p>I’d like to put an image at the bottom of each page so that it sits flush with the footer (without a gap) however there is always a gap between the image and the footer. It doesn’t occur on the homepage but on all other pages. It’s in the area where the word “edit’ is shown when logged in. </p>
