Audio on Dreamhost

    I am new to dreamhost and self hosted wordpress.

    I want to upload a personal mp3 and have it play via a link/player on my blog/site (writingmywrongs.com)

    I am confused by dreamhost/wordpress requirements.

    Do I need to use quicktime? (as it seems dreamhosts requires) or can I install an audio plugin to my wordpress and then upload an mp3 for it to play?

    If the latter, any recommends on the audio plugin?

    You need to install an audio player plugin. Sorry – I can’t recommend any specific player but you’ll find an extensive list at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=audio+&sort=

    bluestokking-were you successful with the audio plugins? i work for a dj (theoriginaldjtonik.com) and I need to upload mp3s and mixtapes. while i can install the plugins, i can’t get them to work! any ideas?! also, the dream host audio file size is 7mb which seems to be extremely small. what size files do you upload? thanks!
