It seems that W3TC is causing posts to miss their publishing schedule.

I saw a three-year-old post about this in this support forum, saying the cause was the object cache. The problem didn’t seem to get resolved in the thread. Is there a way to avoid this problem and still use the object cache?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello @jamminjames

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
Can you please share if those are CPT? Please share the Purge policy section screenshot in Performance>Page Cache and let me know if you are using wp native scheduler or some other method for scheduling the posts.
    Thanks!

By CPT do you mean custom post types? No, standard posts. Using native scheduler. Also, forgot to mention, we use an outside cronjob (cron-job.org) to trigger the wp-cron.php file, and so have “define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, true);” set in wp-config.php.

This morning, a couple scheduled posts published okay. I don’t think we changed anything. Seems the problem is inconsistent.
