    Hi

We are using another plugin to seperate the parentorders into different orders.
When the ‘Childorders ‘ are made als an invoice is made.

Now we haven an issue because on the ‘childorders’ we can’t see if the order has been spilt or not.

Is there any option to add the ‘parentorder’ to the invoice?

    Thanks!

    Hi @amunavercruysse,

Since this isn’t a default behavior by WooCommerce, we don’t have a setting out of the box to display the “parent order” on the PDF invoice. Maybe the plugin that you mentioned stores the parent order ID in the child orders. If so, and you have some PHP knowledge, you could write a code snippet to get this meta and then display it on the PDF invoices using our PDF template action hooks: See some use examples here: Using the template action hooks.

Unfortunately, writing a custom code snippet for this request is beyond the free support. However, if you have a valid license for the Professional extension or Premium Templates, please contact us by support@wpovernight.com, and we’ll provide you with extra help to achieve this, either writing a code snippet for you (Professional) or explaining how to do it with the customizer (Premium Templates).
