• Hello,

I have a question regarding blog posts.

I’ve noticed the page for blog entries on the Dara theme adds a button on the bottom saying “see older entries” every five entries. If you click on it, it uploads those older entries, but everything remains on the same page (which becomes very long).

Is it possible to personalize it so that you get an additional page for every ‘X’ number of blog posts (pages 1, 2, 3, etc.)? Maybe through a CSS code?

For example, if you get an extra page every three entries, having 7, 8, or 9 entries would add up to 3 pages.

  • Hello there,

That’s related to the infinite scroll behaviour of the site.

This can be changed here: https://wordpress.com/settings/writing/majocalvoestetica.wordpress.com > scroll down to theme enhancements.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you!

I was able to change the blog posts viewed per page to 3, and the infinite scroll option is automatically disabled due to footer widgets being featured on the site.

I cannot figure out, though, if it´s possible to have buttons on the bottom indicating pages “1, 2, 3, etc.” (with each page featuring 3 blog posts) instead of having a “load more posts” button that still creates an infinite list.

    Hello there,

You may wish to consider limiting the posts to excerpts only, which is a setting seen on the same page above, or you could look to add a more block into the content itself: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/more-block/

It looks like you require pagination, which isn’t a trait of this theme.

I’d recommend reaching out for assistance via: https://wordpress.com/help/contact as you could get advise on how best to achieve what you require for the site.

Thank you again, Adam, for the options provided.

    Pagination was the name!

I´ll contact WordPress about this or try a more block as a last resort.
