Is there any way to auto-import products from Square to Woo instead of manually pressing the “Import” button? My client adds new products daily, so it becomes a hassle to go onto the site daily and click the Import button.

From what I gather, your client has Square as System of Record set up.
Feel free to refer to the Sync Settings (directly linked here), in the official documentation, in order to review the available options and, subsequently, at the Product and Inventory Sync section (directly linked here), for more.
Since the store in your use case has Square as System of Record, the section I’m linking directly here will come in handy; I suggest reading through the entirety of the Product and Inventory Sync section (directly linked here), though.

I have gone through all of the documentation, specifically this paragraph:
As of version 2.0 +, neither automatic nor manual updates will import new products from Square to WooCommerce. If you have created new products and wish to import them to your WooCommerce store, please use the option to Import Products as mentioned above under Square settings.
Is there a reason why this limitation is set? If Square sync can automatically fetch the newest info for existing products, why can’t it do the same for new products? Is there a way to custom develop this kind of functionality using any hooks or a cron job? Would you be able to point me in the right direction for something like this?
