Active menu item – background

    Hello,
    Is it possible to have an active menu item marked with a different background?
    For example – all items have white or transparent background and the active one has got green – to stand out and be clearly visible.
    I guess there should be some CSS selector pointing to an active menu item (IIRC there always has been such a selector in WP menus?) but I am unable to find it.
    I am working on Twenty Twenty-Three theme, Gutenberg and my menu (Advanced Navigation) links lead to anchors (it’s a one-page layout).

    Hi @sokol07,

    Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
    I have checked the issue. Currently, we don’t have the option to set the active menu with a different background colour.

    However, thanks for your valuable suggestion. I’ll discuss this feature with my team and we will try to implement this option in the future. Once we have added this feature we will inform you, don’t worry.

    I have the plugin updated to 3.8.5. Where can I configure this feature to have the active item highlighted?

    I hope you are doing well. You will get the option on Preset 2 and 3. The other two layouts have not added the feature. Have a look here – https://d.pr/v/7KKrXa
