Old woo commerce installation

    I have the problem that I report below.
    At Automattic execution the site goes into “fatal error” and I have to replace the woocommerce plugin folder. Once the woocommerce folder has been replaced, the site works correctly again.
    I tried to update the plugin which was very old to a more “fresh” version. It is now 3.7.3 but the problem persists. What can I do? What can it be?

    Sorry for the trouble. Did you update your PHP version to v7.4 or v8.x? Could you please update your WordPress core, all themes, and plugins? Then let me know how that goes! 😄

    I can’t update more than I have updated. The project is from 2015! I just have to make it work.

    WP is version 5.4.11

    PHP is 7.4

    woocommerce is 3.7.3 (original 2.5.5 but it didn’t even have blocks so I thought that was the problem)

    On an old hosting it worked without problems. Only on a new hosting I have the indicated problem.

    Couldn’t there be some way to turn off woocomerce’s automatic actions? Is used as a catalog, there are no sales or registered users.

    PS: theme is Waboot 0.13.3!!!!! The proposed update would be 3.1.3!!!!!!
