Authentication error

I have been using easy WP SMTP for a couple of years and not problems. Suddenly the contact form in other languages (English is default) stopped working citing a server error. Now when i try to send a test email i receive an authentication error:
SMTP Error: Could not authenticate. I checked the settings and everything seems ok. I fell a bit lost here..
