My custom theme has faults!!

    Hi,

    i created my own wordpress theme from scratch.
    For the past week I’ve been trying to work out why the events calendar plugin wont work (the nextgen shopping gallery doesnt work for me either), only to discover theres an issue with my theme…
    Perhaps theres something that ive taken out or should put in. Being a novice is hard to identify the issue, so I’ve just realised that theres something I haven’t done correctly.

    Can anyone help me? I have 3 days until I need to deliver the finished product to the client so running out of time fast!

    do you have the necessary calls in the header and footer?

    <?php wp_head(); ?> before the </head> in header.php

    and

    <?php wp_footer(); ?> before the </body> in footer.php

    those are necessary for plugins to work
