Error when saving or preview changes in the table

    Hello,
    Starting today, i receive the following error when trying to save or preview changes in a table:
    Saving: Saving failed: AJAX call failed: error - . Try again while holding down the “Shift” key.
    Preview: The Table Preview could not be loaded.: AJAX call failed: error -
    I talked with my domain admins and they said that everything is ok from their side.
    They raised the PHP limits also. I’ve tried to disable all the other plugins but no resolution.
    Can you help me please? Everything was ok until today.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    If the AJAX call failed, there’s likely something on the server blocking the request. Can you maybe investigate this more in the “Network” tab of the browser’s Developer Tools? That should show us the HTTP response code of the AJAX call.

    I’ve tried 2 times to save changes and this is what i get in the Developer Tools mode.

    Hi,

    these look like timeout issues on the server, so that the request never reaches TablePress. Unfortunately, there’s nothing that I can do about this in TablePress.
    Something on the server must be causing these requests to not be answered. You could maybe try checking the server’s error log files.

    Miraculously, it is now working again. 🙂
    Maybe the hosting admins did something. I don’t know.
