• I manage two successful websites http://www.operawarhorses.com and http://www.coastalresearch.org. Both use photos that I edit and resize in my flickr.com photostream. This week, flickr has changed the processes by which photos can be placed into WordPress websites.

For the past three years, I have edited my photos to the size I utilize on m main site, whose dimensions are 425 pixels horizontal or 400 pixels vertical.

Once I had my picture as I wanted it, I would go to “All Sizes” pick the right
size for the purpose, use the “Add an Image” function using the “From URL” and
then paste the “Image URL” into the “Add Media File from URL” prompt box.

Now, if I try to do that I get a red X at the left side of the “Image URL” line.

Can anyone tell me what I should do to continue to use flickr for these two
websites? I was happy with the old ways of doing things, but don’t understand
how to work with the changes.

I know I have probably not raised this question in the right place, but do not know where I should begin on this.
