• Help!

I have been trying to install the post-teaser plugin for my website. However, when placing the appropriate php file in my wp-content/plugins directory, I go to my Dashboard –> Plugins thingo and it’s not there! Just the default Hello Dolly, Markdown etc..

I have checked all permissions on all directories, i.e. set wp-content AND plugins to 777 (overkill I know), but it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

    Anyone got any ideas?

  • Does the plugin in question have the required head-comments like the other plugins? Can we see the source of the plugin?

    Source.

Above is copied to a file called post-teaser.php in my wp-content/plugins directory. I’ve also tried installing matt’s blogtimes plugin, and a few others, all with same effect: they don’t show up.
