CORS
-
Hi there,
On the cart page of my website, I noticed that the updater gets stuck when adjusting the quantity and/or adding a coupon. When I inspect in console, I see a CORS error. When we disable Stripe, the error stops.
You can view this here: http://www.voltfuse.com/cart
I’m hoping someone can help.

Hi @alex-h-1
Thank you for reaching out!
In order for us to get a better understanding of your site setup, could you please share a copy of your website’s System Status Report?
You can get it by navigating to the
WooCommerce / Statussection of your site. Once there, click on theGet system reportbutton and then copy it by clicking on theCopy for supportbutton. Then paste it here in a comment. Is there an e-mail address I can send it too directly vs. posting publicly here?
Thanks,
Alex
Hello @alex-h-1,
Is there an e-mail address I can send it too directly vs. posting publicly here?
I’m afraid there isn’t a private method to share information here in the forums. The system status report doens’t have any sensitive information, it will show your active plugins, server specs, site URL (which you shared already), etc.
That said, you can upload it to Google Drive instead of posting it here directly so you can delete it later once the thread is solved. 🙂
Cheers!
Please see here for the log.
Really need your help with resolving the issue.
Hello @alex-h-1,
Thank you for providing the report!
I can see your theme is overriding the WooCommerce templates. Can you please try switching to the Storefront theme and see if that changes anything?
Let us know how it goes.
It works, but obviously it updates the cart in a different way compared to our theme. Can you advise what the issue might be?
I’ve tried contacting the theme developer about this and they said it is a Stripe issue.
If you can have a look at my site and make some suggestions as to what might be causing this CORS error, that would be appreciated.

Hello,

Thanks for testing the Storefront theme. Glad to know that Stripe will work on your site with another theme. At this moment, the test results are pointing to a conflict between your theme and Stripe.
I’ve tried contacting the theme developer about this and they said it is a Stripe issue.
We are not aware of an unexpected uptick in theme compatibility issues with Stripe’s latest version. However, if your theme developer found a fault, we would be thankful if they report it here:

If you can have a look at my site and make some suggestions as to what might be causing this CORS error, that would be appreciated.
We would be happy to assist further if needed, however, we can’t troubleshoot third-party products – if I understood correctly, the error went away when you switched your theme.

I feel like this is related to this: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/2192
And based on what I can see, your team still has not fixed this issue.
Why?
Hi there @alex-h-1 👋
Just to clarify, did the error went away when you switched your theme to Storefront, please?
Yes, that’s correct, but that is irrelevant to my above message and the issue that I referenced.
Hi,
Sorry for the confusion. For issues reported on GitHub, please note that the Developers work on them based on priority, we do not have an ETA to know when they will be fixed, unfortunately.
May I ask is the site receiving any error messages under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs? (if any, let us know).
Let us know what you find.
I will check and let you know.
In the meantime, can you please review the issue on our site as well as the one outlined on GitHub in detail and then get back to me?
Hello,
We can help you with any error message received under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if there are errors on there, let us know).
I could reproduce the issue as well, as mentioned previously, if the cart/checkout works properly with a default theme, please be sure to reach out to your theme support first, we are unable to provide support for third party themes.
Thanks.
This is a stripe issue and similar to on the GitHub, it’s plugin team isn’t providing any help at all. Very disappointing.
Hi @alex-h-1
I understand that the error was resolved when you switched to the default Storefront theme. Hence, we can conclude that the conflict arises between your theme and the Stripe plugin as you’ve mentioned above.
I feel like this is related to this: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/2192
Since you’ve mentioned that your case is similar to the reported bug on the link above, I suggest subscribing to the thread to be posted for updates. You could also, add your own findings too on the comment box.
Thanks!
