Sidebar Links Not Working?

I can’t get any links in my sidebar to work, no matter what I put in there. I erased the original php code just because I wanted a custom sidebar with only a few things in it. It’s not that the links aren’t working, it’s as if they don’t exist. It doesn’t even really seem to be functioning as a text field because you can’t even highlight anything. Kind of a weird problem, but this is the last thing I need to fix before my site is operational. Any help?
