    Hi I am receiving this message working on a site:
    [2022-10-23 05:09:18] API.INFO: ConstantContact_API::get_account_info:131 – user.privilege.forbidden – You don’t have permission to perform this action; please see your account owner. [] []

    You have said in another forum that:
    If you logged in and connected the two with a “Campaign Creator” user within the constantcontact.com admin area, then the error above could still end up occurring because it lacks sufficient permissions.

    My question is:
    Is there a spot in the plugin for me to logout or should I deactivate and then reactivate the plugin to log in and type in the account owner’s login?

    Hi @tot18

    If you visit the “Disconnect” menu item in the Constant Contact Form menu area, you should see a “disconnect” button that you can disconnect the currently logged in account with, and log in with a different Constant Contact user afterwards.

    I was able to login with the admin account, but I am still receiving the same message:
    [2022-10-24 01:17:16] API.INFO: ConstantContact_API::get_account_info:131 – user.privilege.forbidden – You don’t have permission to perform this action; please see your account owner. [] []

    Best I can guess with that sticking around is that the user used still isn’t an account owner for the intended Constant Contact account. We don’t set that error message specifically with the plugin, it’s part of the API response.

    The login I used is the account owner’s login and I am still getting the same message

    Noted and understood on that part, but the error persisting looks like it somehow still doesn’t have the necessary permissions for the request being made here, and that’s not something we have control over with the plugin itself.

    Where do you think the permission could possibly be missing? (I am switching the site from Mailchimp to Constant Contact, if that helps. Also when I deactivated Mailchimp the shortcode was still there where the signup box used to be.)

    For that part, I do not know. My support focus is just with the WordPress plugin here.

    Reaching out at https://www.constantcontact.com/about/contact-us would get you connected with someone who could help with user levels and permissions and whatnot.
