Missing items in Media Library

    I just noticed my Media Library is not complete.

    There are images in a folder uploads/2008/02 (checked that via FTP) that don’t show up in the media library. The media library says: no photos prior to 2009.

    The posts are empty. Just as if WordPress doesn’t know there are photo’s.

    -> I didn’t upload the pictures via FTP. There are even WP-generated thumbs in the folders.

    The pictures are visible in the blog itself, just not in the media lkibrary. It has me puzzled.

    Any suggestions? Is there a way to make WP reconnect with its inner self? 🙂

    When you remove items from the media library they are not removed from the server, so i’d guess they are previously uploaded images that were removed from the media library.
