    Hi,

    im just testing out ultimate member for my website. The only thing i cant get to work is the {display_name} | {site_name} for the page title of the profiles.

    It only displays the page name ie user as the page title for every user. Ive tried with or without yoast, different themes etc but no luck.

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,

    Could you send me the example of your profile page title and your expectations for this title (to better understand the problem)ю

    Thank you.

    My profile pages are set as http://www.mywebsite.com/user (default setting)

    So my page to my profile for example would be http://www.mywebsite.com/user/purevibes

    Now no matter what I do the page title only shows as <title>User</title> which is obviously no good for seo as every profile would just have User as the page title in the header code. It should be <title>purevibes | mywebsite.com</title>

    The {display_name} | {site_name} setting under misc on ultimate member settings does not work for me.

    No cache, different themes, reboot server etc it just wont work.

    My site is adult related so dont want to post links

    How did you set the “Avoid indexing profile by search engines” for the User Role setup?

    UM User Roles -> Edit the User Role -> Profile Access

    Also this “Avoid indexing profile by search engines” is required for indexing:

    UM Settings -> General -> Users

    You can verify that this is also indexing valid:

    WP Settings -> Reading -> Search engine visibility

    /**
     * Settings by the priority:
     * "Search engine visibility" in [wp-admin > Settings > Reading]
     * "Profile Privacy" in [Account > Privacy]
     * "Avoid indexing my profile by search engines in [Account > Privacy]
     * "Avoid indexing profile by search engines" in [wp-admin > Ultimate Member > User Roles > Edit Role]
     * "Avoid indexing profile by search engines" in [wp-admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > General > Users]
     */

    Hi,

    I checked my local site and I haven’t had this problem.
    Please try to do a conflict test and check again – https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/96-how-to-do-a-plugin-theme-conflict-test

    Thank you.

    Thank you!!!!

    My website is under maintenance mode and WP Settings -> Reading -> Search engine visibility is set to Discourage search engines from indexing this site. Once i change this it works!!!!

    Thank you so much.

    @andrewshu – thanks for helping too.
