Deletes images when I run import – WooCommerce

    Hello,

    I have a problem that when I run an import of external WooCommerce products, the pictures imported from spreadsheet links will be deleted in the end.

    The problem occurs when I try to run an import that is intended to update all the external WooCommerce products. When it is done doing the creating/updating it will start deleting the pictures of the product that was updated at the end of the import. (If I then run a new import, all pictures will be imported again and not deleted).
    I have tried different settings unfortunately with the same result.

    The only setting I that have worked for me is to just leave them in the media library. But I what to remove them automatically when they are no longer linked to a WooCommerce product.

    What settings is need to solved this issue?

    Hi @mortensteffensen,

    The only setting I that have worked for me is to just leave them in the media library. But I what to remove them automatically when they are no longer linked to a WooCommerce product.

    Please try using those settings and saving this code in your child theme’s functions.php file (or in a code snippets plugin): https://d.pr/n/dVfutY.

    If that doesn’t help, I would have to see this issue in action (so that I can check the settings and data) to understand why the images are being deleted. Please replicate the issue on a sandbox site at http://www.wpallimport.com/debug/, then open a support request at http://www.wpallimport.com/support/ with the sandbox site URL and a brief description of the issue (or include a link to this thread for reference).
