    Hi @victor307

In that case you really want to delete that stored data of Smart Slider 3, then yes those steps are still relevant.
If you need it in the future, then in our documentation you can always find the name of our database tables, and the name/location of the folders that we created:

    Best regards,
    Laszlo.

    Hi @laszloszalvak

    Thanks a lot!

This row is mentioned in the previous thread: n2_ss3_version.

Am I correct a new row is also to be deleted: widget_smartslider3?

These two rows are all the rows, I think?

    Thanks again 🙂

    Hi @victor307

Yes, those rows are also connected to Smart Slider 3.

If you published the sliders somewhere with our shortcode or with the Smart Slider 3 element, then if you search for the pattern %smartslider3% in phpMyAdmin, then it will also list records from the <wp-preffix>posts table. But you shouldn’t delete those records, as that way you will lose the entire post. This can only help you in finding the posts/pages with shortcodes, and then you could open those in Gutenberg or your Page builder and remove them manually.

    Hi @laszloszalvak

Thanks for the reply. We only used the slider on our homepage for a while, so the shortcode was easy to find in our case.

Regarding the removal of the Smart Slider 3’s capabilities with the User Role Editor: I hope installing User Role Editor plugin does not leave new rows in the database, after uninstalling the User Role Editor plugin. (Otherwise I’ll be creating new ‘plugin left overs’, in order to remove ‘plugin left overs’)

Anyway, I do really much appreciate the instructions on how to remove the capabilities as well.
