• The update from 2.10 to 2.11 totally destroyed my site, how can I rollback to version 2.10? Or better can you release a new version making all changes of version 2.11 optional and not automatic as in version 2.11? Please.

I managed to rollback to previous version 2.10 through hosting website backup, but I lost one year of life in a few minutes.

    Hello,

It doesn’t seem like you have many customizations right now. Can you please re-update and let me know exactly what you don’t like? It would be really helpful.

Sorry, I can’t do that. Anyway the site appearance was completely destroyed in both layout and colors. However, while i was logged in, layout was normal and only colors were affected, nevertheless the website was unusable with those colors. I will try again the update only with next version.

We’re going to revert back the colors. I was curious mostly about the layout as we haven’t made any changes apart from a bit of padding.

Hello, I can speak to the layout issues. The recent updates have completely destroyed my website’s format, particularly the galleries. The body of each page is narrower than it used to be by quite a bit, and for some reason, that has made all of my galleries to display improperly, reducing the column # by 1. For some of my pages, I have galleries of images (size Large) that I set to be 3 images wide. In the editor, it looks fine but when I publish, the gallery displays 2 images wide. The same thing happens for pages where I have galleries 2 images wide (upon publishing, it displays 1 image). I have tried adjusting the layout, I have tried sizing down the image size to medium, I have tried everything I can think of, but nothing seems to work. At most, when I increase the page width, the overall size of the images increases, but it doesn’t return to the proper number of columns I specified. Any help you can give would be much appreciated. Otherwise, I am going to have to rollback to a previous version.

    Hi @thispodcastwillkillyou,

    Thank you for chiming in.

I checked your site that is shown in your profile page. The homepage’s layout looks good in my web browser. My guess, looks likely you are getting an issue with particular part/section? If so, to add more context, would you point me to which part where your issue presents?

Hello, thanks for replying. The homepage seems alright, but it’s the rest of the site that I’m having issues with, particularly these two pages: Quarantinis and Placeboritas where the columns should be three images wide rather than two. Before the update, the galleries on those pages were displaying properly, with three images wide.

There are other instances that have been changed by the narrower format, affecting both the width of the content on the page (regardless of desktop/tablet/mobile preview) as well as the galleries. All of my website posts show this problem: in this post, for instance, the gallery at the bottom should be two images wide (as shown in the editing page). Before the update, it was showing as two images wide but now only one image wide. The text content is also narrower.
