I had the same issue – I rolled back to 2.21.1 – the author said they just did some update that fixed this – have you updated to a new version yet?
Just tried the new version, clicking Yes still gets me “An error occured, please try again”

Hi @iggy097 and @teksmith,
@iggy097 – that message looks more like an issue connecting to the REST API than the previous “click yes, get no” issue. Is the REST API available?
@teksmith, what error message did you get?
Thanks
Phil
When I tried just using the 3.0 one it gave me some REST API error in my backend (I am not a developer so I don’t know what that means) – when I tried the 3.0.4 one that error wasnt there , just the error on the front end. I rolled back to the 2.2 version so my members can access the site

The REST error in the back end was removed as some people were actually seeing it when they shouldn’t.
What’s your site address, I’ll see if I can figure it out. (can stay on 2.x for right now).
Thanks

Thanks @iggy097,
So it looks to me like you are using a security plugin that is blocking the entire REST API.
To fix for Age Gate three you can allow access to that endpoint. If the plugin is wp cerber, you do that in WP Cerber -> Dashboard -> Hardening at the bottom and add age-gate to the “Allow these namespaces”.
Under that setting should also be a “view denied requests” where you’ll probably see the age gate ones (and most likely loads of others from spammers!)
Thanks
Phil
Followed that – updated – flushed cache – I think it’s working now. Confirm on your end?

Yup @iggy097, can see the API endpoint now, yes lets me in as expected and clicking no gave me more joy than it should have!
Thanks
Phil
Haha never mind I see you did 🙂
