Collapsed table cells in the TablePress backend

    Hello Tobias,

    Recently the table cells for my TablePress tables are all now collapsed/unreadable, and I must be able to read my previous content and copy and paste.

    While I can grab the corner and expand this is a huge pain to do to several cells, and/or all the cells/rows I have in a table.

    HELP – How to I turn this off? I want my table data back to the way they had always been in the past, readable.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Here, I assume that another plugin is interfering by inserting CSS code into the TablePress admin screens (which they should not be doing). To verify that, can you therefore please try again after temporarily deactivating all other plugins? That way, we can find what’s causing this.

    I see…

    As I deactivate plugins can I check Tablepress, or do I have to log out and back in to see any changes? Are plugin affects instant, or is there a waiting period?

    And what about Tablepress plugins?

    Oh Boy!
    So I deactivated all but Tablepress – logged out and back in.

    My website went crazy with warnings, but I looked at Tablepress and it still is smushed cells.

    So I activated my plugs and now I have a lot of work to do with the plugins. And it showed I was now logged in twice –

    sorry to hear that this is still troubling 🙁

    Being logged in twice is no problem, normally, or are you seeing specific warnings about that?

    And what “crazy warnings” are you getting? Are they related to TablePress?

    Can you maybe post a screenshot of what you are seeing when editing your tables (i.e. the collapsed/unreadable cells)? You could upload it to a service like https://imgur.com/ and post the link here.
