Anyone ever use the “All in One SEO Pack” plugin? I’m having a problem updating it.

I am using the newest version of WordPress, and just updated to it a few weeks ago.

Well recently, a new version of this All in One SEO Pack plugin has come out, so I’d like to update it.

First when I tried to do automatic update on the plugin, it would just get hung and do absolutely NOTHING whenever I’d try to update it.

So then I try a few other things like switching to the default WordPress theme, deactivating a few plug-ins in order to maybe jump start it.

Sometimes I also have to install a memory bump (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/memory-bump/), or add a line of code `AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
` to my .htaccess file to make these type of automatic update work right. But I have not had to do these last two things this time, in order to make this All in One SEO Pack at least LOOK like it’s updating.

It now appears to start, but then stays on a screen and says

“The update process is starting. This process may take awhile on some hosts, so please be patient.

    Enabling Maintenance mode…
Updating Plugin All in One SEO Pack (1/1)

And then there’s a little “loading” icon that just stays forever, on the right of the “Updating Plugin All in One SEO Pack”.

I hate to interrupt this thing because it says it takes a while on some servers. but I am on a really fast connection right now, and this has been going for a good ten minutes now. Any ideas?
