    Our users are reporting constant blocking by anti crawler protection on our website. Even after the countdown is done it starts all over again permanently blocking users from using our website. We had the same experience when working with 2 or more tabs switiching between the admin back end and the front end. But now regular users are facing this problem, too.

    Debug gives no indication. All systems are checked green! Only this entry makes me suspicious:

    What is wrong? Clean Talk works fine on our pother website alpentourer.de. Both sites are almost identical in terms of plugins used. Only major difference is the WooCommerce shop on alpentourer.nl.

    Hello, @fennels.

    I’ve just visited several pages of your website and I haven’t been blocked yet.

    Normal visitors will never see these blocking screens, only bots and other suspicious browsers will. Possible reasons of false blocking screens:
    • visitors use VPN addresses of high spam scores;
    • something interferes your website JavaScript code;
    • cookie-files are not being set properly in the browser or they are disabled.

    Could you tell me what browser you are using? Do you have any extensions installed?

    You can find these options in the plugin settings:
    WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Anti-Flood or Anti-Crawler

    We hadthat with Firefox and Safari. Extensions are the same as with alpentourer.de and it works there. It looks more like a connection problem to Clean Talk (Debug), doesn’t it?

    In that case, please change a few options in the plugin:
    • WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —>
    • —> set the option “Use SSL” to “On” —>
    • —> set the option “Use WordPress HTTP API” to “On” —> Save Changes.

    Or disable the option Anti-Crawler:
    • WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Anti-Crawler” to “Off” —> Save Changes.

    It’s hard to say wether that helps as the error cannot be easily reproduced. Sometimes it’s there, sometimes not. Is the Debug info any help?
