    I have the logging switched on and in the past week I have had tons of junk searches.
    eg czjb/**/and/**/3376=(select/**/upper(xmltype(chr(60)||chr(58)||chr(113)||chr(112)||chr(118)||chr(106)||chr(113)||(select/**/(case/**/when/**/(3376=3376)/**/then/**/1/**/else/**/0/**/end)/**/from/**/du
    and
    (select/**/concat(concat(‘qpvjq’,(case/**/when/**/(1467=1467)/**/then/**/’1’/**/else/**/’0’/**/end)),’qjxjq’))
    a lot are even showing in the list of Successful searches which doesn’t make sense b/c when I click on the URL then now search results show up.
    Why is this happening? How do I stop this?

    These are (failed) attempts to attack your site.

    If you can figure out the IP address they are coming from (it’s quite likely they’re coming from one place), it would be best to block that address at the server level.

    Relevanssi Premium has a spam block feature you can use to stop these. You can also use this method if you don’t want to get Premium.
