using links in the sidebar question

I created a specific sidebar for my homepage – the other pages use a sub menu rather than a sidebar. I’d like to add a section in the sidebar for links and James (MacManX) suggested that I create a link category for the In Our Community section of the sidebar here which I did. The problem is that the sidebar I have is custom. Is there a way to get the code for the widget so I can insert it into my sidebar?
