Order colour variation not showing correctly

Hi,

I’m having issues on the WooCommerce app with our variation colours not showing correctly on order. The issues appears to be inconsistent and not happening on all order or happening after a certain period of time.

the colour variation shows as “any pa_colour” (please see the screenshot below)

Please can you advise how I can make the variation colour show on all orders rather than “pa_colour”

This looks like as if the product got added to cart without a set variation: https://d.pr/i/M9kbMI

You could try and set a default variation: https://d.pr/i/fD2LAV to prevent this.

Thanks for the fast response.

I don’t think that would be the issue as the variation colour usually shows in the begging and then changes to pa_colour on the order over time.

Thanks for the additional comment.

Can you share a link to one of those variations that display as “Any pa_colour”? Does the same happen with only WooCommerce core and the Storefront theme enabled? Since this could be due to a conflict I’d suggest you read more about it here.

Could you please also share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

The pa_colour only appears to be showing on the WooCommerce app for mobile. On desktop it just doesn’t show any colours note at all.

Hi there,

Thank you for posting the system status report.
May I circle back to what you said:

The pa_colour only appears to be showing on the WooCommerce app for mobile. On desktop it just doesn’t show any colours note at all.

Ok so to summarise:

* Customer picks a product with a color i.e. https://www.littleonesandco.co.uk/product/the-little-duckie-romper/
* Product gets added to cart and color shows like this: https://d.pr/i/jj0ZlH
* Customer checks out and pays for order however:

1) The WooCommerce mobile app is not showing the color, it shows pa_colour instead in the order details
2) And on desktop neither the selected the color nor pa_colour show up. Instead nothing is there.

Am I summarising this correctly?
