    Hello everyone,

we have our company site on Siteground and use their SG Optimiser plugin for caching. Their support told us that the cache is not working as there is a plugin blocking the SG API. We think it might be Wordfence itself.

Could you tell us how to avoid the aforementioned blocking?

    Thank you.

    Hi @okkocomunicazione,

Have you tried running Wordfence in Learning Mode? Unintended plugin blocks can be down to false-positives if the SG Optimizer plugin is making any calls that require communication in/out of your site so this could help.

From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now perform the actions that were causing issues. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

Let me know how you get on,

    Peter.
