It seems like I am having the same error as a previous poster: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/427169?replies=12

But I do not have any plugins activated. I have the default WordPress theme installed, and one other custom theme based on the default WordPress theme.

My main site works great: blogs.mobilitysales.com
I have 1 secondary site that works great: blogs.mobilitysales.com/rapid-city-sd

Now when I attempt to create a 2nd secondary site, I get the same symptoms as Wiki Chaves.

When I try a database repair for the secondary site it doesn’t work.
    wp_11_posts: Table ‘wordpress-mu.wp_11_posts’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_comments: Table ‘wordpress-mu.wp_11_comments’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_links: Table ‘wordpress-mu.wp_11_links’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_options: Table ‘wordpress-mu.wp_11_options’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_postmeta: Table ‘wordpress-mu.wp_11_postmeta’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_terms: Table ‘wordpress-mu.wp_11_terms’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_term_taxonomy: Table ‘wordpress-mu.wp_11_term_taxonomy’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_term_relationships: Table ‘wordpress-mu.wp_11_term_relationships’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_commentmeta: Table ‘wordpress-mu.wp_11_commentmeta’ doesn’t exist
wp_sitemeta: 2 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly

    Any suggestions would be great!

    Bill

  • So, just to clarify – it originally created the second site just fine, and now it won’t create a third?

Yes, that is correct. Also, this is a fresh install of 3.0.

If you’re up to the “wp_11_” prefix that suggests there are 11 sites around somewhere, whether they’re working or not…

I have been deleting the site I created, then trying again after trying a few config changes, such as disabling plugins.

Yeah, if it’s a second site, the prefix should be 2 not 11.

My main site works great: blogs.mobilitysales.com

It doesn’t work that great; try clicking the title of the “Hello world!” post to go to http://blogs.mobilitysales.com/blog/2010/06/19/hello-world/ and you’ll see this:

Warning: require_once(/home/IMP/imp-sites/blog/includes/sessionData.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/wordpress/wp-content/themes/mobilitysales/header.php on line 13

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/IMP/imp-sites/blog/includes/sessionData.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php5:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/php/smarty:/usr/share/php/smarty/internals:/home/phpLibrary’) in /home/wordpress/wp-content/themes/mobilitysales/header.php on line 13

I know it’s not an answer, but maybe it’s part of the jigsaw?

    Hi dgilmour,

Thanks for taking a look. I didn’t know of that error. This is not associated with my problem.

This site has been integrated with WordPress, and the new version of the site is partially installed.

If you go to blogs.mobilitysales.com/rapid-city-sd and click on any posts, they will work.

The main site has not been upgraded to the new site templates (nothing to do with WordPress, our own custom templates) yet. That is what is causing this error. We will be fixing this though..

    thanks again!

    Hi All,

After not getting a reply for two days, I had to try something else.

I deleted the WordPress install and cleared the database.

I re-installed and my problem is fixed. I can create sub-sites again.

I suspect that something in the database was not right, but I do not know what that is and I don’t know how it got corrupted.

    thanks anyway!
    Bill
