Hi,
It appears the videos have been removed from YouTube. If you look at the first video on that page you provided it’s a playlist. Here’s a direct link to it…
https://www.youtube.com/embed?list=sM5RDq6Jbfc
As you can see, it’s no longer available.
I am sorry for not proving the example, before my post.
Here is another one:

There are 2 videos on that page – the first one works fine and the other, too, is unavailable.
If it’s showing “This video is unavailable” then it’s been removed from YouTube and there’s nothing I can do. If you have any videos that aren’t playing and are not showing this, please let me know.
You don`t understand.
Both videos are the same youtube videos!
Same link, just different types of embed.
First on with “iframe” second one ( same video – same link ) with your plugin! The first video doesn’t appear to be embedded with my plugin. The second is and it’s been specified as a playlist but doesn’t appear to be.
Can you provide me with the shortcode and parameters that you’ve used on that page to display the broken video?
The first video is embedded with “IFRAME” not with your plugin.
The second video is embedded with your plugin.
I did this so you can see the problem is with your plugin. Here are the codes:
First Video:
<p><iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/1IjcZs0cEVM” title=”YouTube video player” frameborder=”0″ allow=”accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture” allowfullscreen=””></iframe></p>Second Video:
You see… both videos are identic!
Ok, I can recreate this now myself.
It appears that the videos are using the search feature, which was depreciated… in 2020. So, theoretically, this should have been failing for 2 years.
I need to do a lot more digging to find out what’s going on here, tbh. Leave it with me.
For us we have a huge problem, as we use your plugin on 10 websites and all videos are off.
Anyway… of course we would prefere ot to change the plugin, cause we have to change all he codes too.
We appreciate your help.I will get to it when I can.
I’ve got to the bottom of it. Kind of.
You’re running PHP 8 or above. The plugin hasn’t yet been tested for this release (a shame you can’t yet specify a maximum PHP version for a plugin). This is something I will be doing in due course but not imminently (all of my plugins require the same). Your best option here, if you can, is to roll back to pre PHP 8, which I assume you must have done at the time this broke.
Well… that was my first thought, and i tested it already.
Right now the site is back to PHP 7.4 but the problem is still there!I would double check as I did the same thing and it did fix the problem.
I suspected it was something like this when I rolled my plugin back a LOT of versions and the issue remained, suggesting it was something outside the control of my plugin.
Well… as you can see we rolled it back to PHP7.4 and the problem is still there.
It is true, that we changed all websites to PHP8 some weeks ago and after that we found the problem, but never the less, it doesn`t work at PHP7.4 either now.
Do you think you will find the issue, as we have to change hundrets of videos on all websites, if you don`t.
If you head into the plugin’s settings, change the cache settings to 0 – you’ll find it’s cached the code from when it was set to PHP 8.
What’s happening is that PHP 8 is causing it to generate the code incorrectly. When you swap back to PHP 7.4 it’s using the same code – turning off the in-plugin caching should refresh it.
Once the videos are working again, you can put the caching back on again.
