Advice to allow Rest API? | WordPress.org

Hello!

I’m using WP Cerber for some time and now I tried to use 10Web Booster. But it couldn’t connect while WP Cerber was active.

Their troubleshoot advice to check if Rest API is blocked and as I tested it get blocked on GET route.

I tried to check on WP Cerber configuration how to allow it but I found the option to block Rest API was already off.

I followed this guide: https://wpcerber.com/restrict-access-to-wordpress-rest-api

So, I didn’t found any other information on how this could be blocking it. I even allowed 10Web IPs on whitelist of WP Cerber.

Can you give me any advice about this? Thank you.

Hi! Based on the information on the 10Web website, you have to add the “tenweb_so” namespace to the “Allow these namespaces” list in the REST API settings.

Hi! That option works when we turn on the option to block all REST API, right?
I’ve set that off. I will try to block all REST API and put the “tenweb_so” namespace to the allowlist to see if it works better.
