Hi, I changed the Login url in the settings. After clicking save, I reopened a new page to log in to the background with the new Login url, and the result jumped to 404.
What is the reason? Does the domain name have to be https? Or is there any special symbol that cannot appear in the Login url?

The site is installed with the latest WordPress6.0.1. The WPS Hide Login plugin is also the latest version.

    Hello,

Thanks for using WPS Hide Login.

Are you sure wp-login.php and wp-admin pages are excluded from cache in your cache plugin settings and in your CDN settings ?

Have you purged your browser cache ?

Hello, this website does not install any caching plug-ins, nor does it access the CDN service. It just installs several plug-ins. These plug-ins cannot be stopped and will affect the original access of the website.

    These plugins are installed:
    All-in-One WP Migration
    Contact Form 7
    Elementor Pro
    MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress
    Rank Math SEO
    Safe SVG
    Slider Revolution
    Smush
    WooCommerce
    Woodmart Core
    Wordfence Security
    WPS Hide Login

    Hello,

In this case, there are only two possibilities.

1- There is a cache system in WordPress. A cache plugin enables to manage it. As you didn’t installed any cache plugin try to log in with your secret slug in another browser or after you purged your browser.

2- There is a conflict with another plugin like Wordfence. Try to deactivate every plugin except WPS Hide Login and try to log in again.

In order to use plugins with custom login URLs, stopping other plugins will affect access to the original website.

If so, does your custom login URL plugin only work for WordPress sites without plugins and no caching? ? Is this the best option for the administrator of the site?

Yes, it works with other plugins. But there may be conflicts between different plugins like on any WordPress install.

It works with cache. You’ve just to exclude wp-login.php and wp-admin from this cache.
