Hello @mapadocapital
Thank you for contacting us, You need to log in as a WordPress site administrator role or user with manage_options capability to access AMP settings.
I’m logged in as admin but it doesn’t work.
It happened after that I installed the plugin AMP for WP and return back to AMP official.
Hmm.. strange, I did try to install and activate AMP for WP and then return back to the Official AMP plugin on my test site but didn’t find any issue.
I will also recommend installing the User Role Editor plugin and checking with the capabilities of the Administrator (your logged-in user)
I have the same problem, and it led me to delete de plugin and quit Amp
I use this plugin almost since de beginning without any problem. Something has changed, I don’t know if it was a wordpress upgrade, or another plugin upgrade, but wen I click the AMP button it gives that error and after that the button disappears from the main menu.
I’m a wordpress user for 15 years, I’m admin and I didn’t research the error and what was causing that because i was thinking on quitting AMP and that error as the trigger to do that
