I assume that the date triggers the daily and weekly update emails of posts.

So if a date is changed on an old post to a current date would that slot it into the daily and weekly updates please.

The Mailpoet literature doesn’t seem to talk about this scenario.

    Thank-you.

    Hi there @gibmessenger,

By default, changing the date on an old post to a current date would not cause it to be resent in a post notification email. There’s more information about this in our doc here:
    https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/347-create-a-post-notification-email

After the first email has been sent, the Post Notification will be triggered again only when newly posts are published.

Updating a post doesn’t trigger the Post Notification. If you want to re-send an already published post, you’ll need to publish it as a new post.

If you wanted to send an old post in a Post Notification email, you would need to copy the content to a new post and publish it. Alternatively, you could clone the post and then publish the clone — I believe the Yoast Duplicate Post plugin adds a “Clone” option.

    Hi there @gibmessenger,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
