I assume this is an upgrade issue?
Did you upgrade your theme? Install/update any plugins?
There is nothing in WordPress itself that would produce this.
What plug-ins do this? We do have a guy who helps us out with our NPO site, and if you know which widget(s) do this, I will disable the one causing it now. And thanks for getting back to me 🙂
There are more than 8,000 plugins in the Plugin Directory and no one knows how many more “in the wild”. There’s no way for anyone to have all of that info at their fingertips.
Try deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). also try switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
Drats! We have a very large website (for a NPO no less), I may have to hunt down our guy (who sadly disappears for long periods of times…) Outlook? Not good.
