    Hello,

I am looking for a currency converter plugin and would like to get more info to see if this plugin will work for me and my multi vendor online marketplace (Dokan with PayPal Marketplace and xtemos theme).

    1. Is it possible to “choose your currency” via a popup for when a user enters site?

    2. As I get an automatic sales fee % via PayPal marketplace from the vendor’s account when a sale is made, will the currency of this be in the default EUR or the currency the user selected?

    3. Does this plugin support PayPal marketplace?

    4. EU is the default payment with my website/PayPal Marketplace. Please confirm if the final price at the checkout/PayPal marketplace will be made in Euros or by the currency selected by the user?

    5. What will the checkout look like when I only take Paypal marketplace? Will the checkout amount be done in EUR (my default currency for PayPal marketplace) or be done via the user’S selected currency?

    6. Will the invoice show the user’s selected currency or default currency (which is EU)? How will this affect prices with VAT incl in invoice with breakdown?

    Thanks!`

    Hello Lori

    1) Yes, but you should has that popup where you can place shortcode [woocs] https://currency-switcher.com/shortcode/woocs

    2) Optionally it can be in one of the variants

    3) WooCommerce PayPal checkout works fine, what about your site set of scripts you need to test it all

    4) You should set settings https://share.stackovergo.com/image/i20220805102536.png + https://share.stackovergo.com/image/i20220805102628.png

    5) Enable https://share.stackovergo.com/image/i20220805102628.png

    6) If enabled https://share.stackovergo.com/image/i20220805102628.png invoice show the user’s selected currency.

You can create your site clone by https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ and make tests to see how it works

    Hi @realmag777

Thanks for clearing 🙂 I have a few more questions based on the above:

#1. Is it possible to “choose your currency” via a popup for when a user enters site?
A-Yes, but you should has that popup where you can place shortcode [woocs] https://currency-switcher.com/shortcode/woocs
*Since I want the pop up on the 1st page a user lands on, I guess the only option is to put the short code in the header or footer?

    2. As I get an automatic sales fee % via PayPal marketplace from the vendor’s account when a sale is made, will the currency of this be in the default EUR or the currency the user selected?
A-Optionally it can be in one of the variants
*Can you show me where I can choose that the sales fee % be done in EUR no matter what currency the user has selected?

    3. Does this plugin support PayPal marketplace?
A- WooCommerce PayPal checkout works fine, what about your site set of scripts you need to test it all
*Please elaborate what you mean about “site set of scripts”.
*I am not using “WooCommerce PayPal checkout” I am using PayPal Dokan Marketplace. Will this work?

    4. EU is the default payment with my website/PayPal Marketplace. Please confirm if the final price at the checkout/PayPal marketplace will be made in Euros or by the currency selected by the user?
    A-You should set settings https://share.stackovergo.com/image/i20220805102536.png + https://share.stackovergo.com/image/i20220805102628.png
*What should the settings be if I want the user to select their currency but pay in Eur in PayPal?
*So if I choose “is multiple allowed: YES”, this means that the checkout amount is in the user selected currency, but PayPal marketplace uses only the default EUR currency?
*Does this feature work in the free version of the plugin?

    Hello @pleazo

1 It means that the pop-up window should be the functionality of your theme or a third-party plugin. For our part, we provide the ability to place a currency switcher in any pop-up window. How this popup will work does not depend on our plugin

2 No, it will be charged in the currency chosen by the user, then the operation is processed on the side of the payment system

3 “site set of scripts” – Specifically, your set of plugins and custom functionality. PayPal Dokan Marketplace – Unfortunately, we do not have such information, you should make a test

4 Please watch this video – https://currency-switcher.com/video#video_1 Always, always, the user will pay in the currency they have chosen. The difference in this setting is just that on the checkout page, the user can pay in any currency or only in the base currency
