So I was previously using EWWW Image Optimizer to automatically convert my images into WEBP format, and it was compatible with Easy Watermark to ensure that the watermark was applied first, then then the webp conversion.

Now I’ve switched to using Lightspeed’s inbuilt webp converter, since my host (like many) use Lightspeed servers and I’m noticing that my images are losing their watermarking.

I guess its not compatible? Essentially what needs to happen is Easy Watermark detect lightspeed webp mode is set, and apply the watermark to the webp images instead of the original JPGs.

    Thanks.

UPDATE: You know what… I’ve noticed that products (with images) I added yesterday have both the watermark AND are converted to webp.

So I guess Easy Watermark must be compatible with Lightspeed (or vice versa).

    So… good news everybody 🙂
