    Mail Poet is telling me I have 1022 subscribers, but I have 3 lists containing, respectively, 975, 3 and 1 subscribers. All the other categories show 0 except for 6 Bounced. This preventing me from emailing without upgrading. How can I get that Subscribed list down below 1000?

    Hi there @rossconnell,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Note that all susbcribers with the status “Subscribed“, “Inactive” and “Unconfirmed” are used to calculate your total number of subscribers.

    Can you check if the sum of these three types of subscribers would total 1022?

    You can also do the following things to get your subscribers under your plan limit:

    – We suggest deleting the “Unconfirmed” subscribers older than 2 weeks and the “Inactive” subscribers since you’re already not sending newsletters to them;
    – Instead of deleting subscribers, you can bulk mark them as “Unsubscribed” to keep your numbers below your plan’s limit;
    – If you’re not sending to WordPress Users, you can disable this list so WordPress Users are not counted towards your subscribers’ number.

    As I said in my original post, “all the other categories are 0 except for 6 bounced” By which I mean there are no Inactive or Unconfirmed, and I have disabled the WordPress Users (even though there are only 3).
    Recalculating changes nothing.
    Your further help would be appreciated.

    I just solved this problem.
    Deleting the List does not purge completely. It is necessary to remove the subscribers too. Next time I have to do this, I will see if deleting the subscribers and deleting the List are two separate steps.

    Thanks again.
