• If you visit the page you will see that if you apply the brand filer (under ΜΑΡΚΕΣ) everything freezes and the only thing you can do is to refresh the page. I saw that other users had the same problem too. Any suggestions? This does not happen every time. For example if you go to a different page it might work properly.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there,
I checked your site, and I think there is another plugin causing issues with the AJAX call, because if you visit the following URL, the filters are applied correctly.
    https://www.petspace.gr/shop/?yith_wcan=1&product_cat=ksira-trofi-skylou&product_tag=aellis

I suggest you try to disable the other plugins, except for WooCommerce, and check if the plugin is working correctly.
Then, if it’s working, you should re-enable the rest of the plugins one by one until you find the one causing the issue.

    I’ll remain to your disposal.

Hello, thank you for your answer. However how is it possible to have the plugin working properly in page 2 and not page 1? I mean in the shop page if you visit the second page or the third etc the plugin works fine. Every page has the same plugins. I dont get it.

One more thing. When i apply the brand filter and then try to apply another filter on top the brand filter is being removed. Is this normal? I cant have more than one filters active?

    Thread Starter JamesHolden

    (@jamesholden)

I deactivated all the plugins. Nothing changed.

    The plugins works fine here:
    https://www.petspace.gr/product-category/skylos/trofes-skylou/ksira-trofi-skylou

    but not here:
    https://www.petspace.gr/product-category/skylos/trofes-skylou/ksira-trofi-skylou/page/2/

    Same files, same everything.

Ok i think i found the problem.

So if im on page 2 or 3 or 4 etc of any category and i select a filter that has results that can fill only one page then the plugin stops working.

    Thread Starter JamesHolden

    (@jamesholden)

Yep thats it. If Im in page 4 then the plugin does not work because no filter has results that can fill 4 pages.

Also If im in page 2 when i apply the filters and there are enough results for 2 pages, the results that the user will see will be only the last ones in page 2. He has to go back to page one of the results to see the first ones.

    Thread Starter JamesHolden

    (@jamesholden)

So you cant use your plugin unless the results are enough to fill as many pages as the one you are on. If you are on page 5 then you need to have enough results for 5 pages otherwise the plugin freezes

    Any suggestions?

    Hi there,

This issue could be related to the attributes lookup tables, so please, go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and click on:
    – WooCommerce transients
    – Product lookup tables
    – Term counts
    – Update database
    – Regenerate the product attributes lookup table
    – Clear Product Filter transients
    – Clear Product Filter sessions

Try these and let us know if the issue is fixed.

    Have a nice day!

    Hello,

Thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately it did not work. The plugin only works on the first page of each category.

    Thread Starter JamesHolden

    (@jamesholden)

Any other suggestions? How about the fact that even when the plugin works (only when there are enough results) you are only presented with the results of that page?

For example. Im on page 2 (of any product category), the results of the filters that im presented are only the results that fill the second page. The user has to go back to page 1 of the results to see the rest. Is this how your plugin functions?

    Thanks

    (@jamesholden)

In the options if i select Show results > Reload on a new page, I get Page cannot be found although there are products that belong to the selected filter.

    Thread Starter JamesHolden

    (@jamesholden)

Again this only happens if im in page 2 and the results are less than page 2

    Hi there,

after investigating a little bit on your site, it seems that there are some parameters missing as arguments.

Please, take a look to this screenshot.

This script should contain an argument called ‘base_url’ that contains the URL of the page but it’s missing.

My suggestion is to investigate about what could cause this problem, trying to disable custom codes or templates, disabling plugins or even changing the theme to a default WordPress theme.

    Let us know, please!

    Have a great day!

    Hello,

So what you are saying is that the plugin works just fine when the results are less than a page but it breaks when the results are one page + 1 result because suddenly there is a missing argument? Did i understand that correctly?

I have disabled all the plugins and nothing changed. I switched to Storefront theme and nothing changed. I deleted all the custom functions and nothing changed. You can check again if you like.

Could please someone answer me why this page gives a 404 error?

    https://www.petspace.gr/product-category/skylos/trofes-skylou/ksira-trofi-skylou/page/2/?yith_wcan=1&product_tag=canagan

If you go to page 1 the plugin works, if you go to page 2, page not found or if you have ajax enabled the plugin freezes. If i have however more results enough for page 2 then it works. But if you go to page 3 and you do the same it doesnt.
