Fatal error, Plugins and Zend Optimizer

Hi guys,

I’m trying to add blogging to my internet marketing but I’m having challenges. My WP blog is hosted with Godaddy. After intalling some plugins, I get a Fatal error message when I try to view my site. Here’s part of the response Godaddy to my request:
“Zend Optimizer™ is a free application that runs the files encoded by the Zend Guard, while enhancing the performance of PHP applications.

To enable Zend Optimizer on your hosting account, you must either modify or create a php.ini file if your hosting account runs PHP 4, or your php5.ini file if your hosting account runs PHP 5. The file you create or modify must include the following code:

[Zend]
zend_optimizer.optimization_level=15
zend_extension_manager.optimizer=/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer-3.3.3
zend_extension_manager.optimizer_ts=/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer_TS-3.3.3

NOTE: We recommend backing up your php.ini or php5.ini file before modifying it.” All these are above my head. I need help desperately.

So, you only see that error when using WP Tube while Zend Optimizer is enabled?

Well, I see the error message when I try to login to my wordpress blog. After I started to get this error message, I downloaded zend optimizer but I don’t know whether I have enabled it or not.

My client got the fatal error as well. It’s because GoDaddy doesn’t support the update, but it would have been nice to have known that before we clicked the prompt on WordPress to accept the update. It’s devastating because it’s a business blog, and he’s built up a following and amassed a large number of comments.

The Web designer tried pulling the scripting error out of the indicated line, but it just keeps moving through the code and giving errors with new line errors indicated. Do I need to download the Zend Optimizer as well?

James, if you can advise in any way, it would be much appreciated. The error is below, as is the blog URL:

Again, this isn’t something that should happen from innocently clicking a message to update. If we had known it would completely derail his blog, we would have just ignored it.

I am also facing a similar error.

my website URL is http://www.heelsdanceacademy.com

this is built using wordpress.

any suggestions would be very helpful.
