WPForms Lite Fatal Exception After Update

    Greetings: After yesterday’s update, the WPForms Lite plugin hangs during update and blocks out the site. Disabled it so will not reactivate now.

    Question pls: How long might it be before the WPForms folks find out about this and get a new working update out to us?

    WordPress version 6.0.1
    Active theme: Author Pro (version 1.2.1)
    Current plugin: WPForms Lite (version 1.7.5.3)
    PHP version 8.0.17

    Error Details
    =============
    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 160 of the file (xxxxxxx)/wp-content/plugins/wpforms-lite/src/WPForms.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Failed opening.

    Never mind. I gave up and deleted/reinstalled, obviously the most simple solution. I did not want to lose the data files though, but luckily all was intact.
