really confused

Hi i have a website http://festivalnet.rollingsixes.com/directory/ which is a directory for service providers to the festival industry in the UK and i have another site http://festivalnet.rollingsixes.com/ which is a news service for the same industry.

Is it ok to link the sites together through the nav bars or would you think its better to change the name of the news service to avoid confusion…..im not sure if search engines would get confused.
