Order is missing but received a New Ordre notification for it

As I was looking through my recent orders, I noticed that there were only 4 orders when there should have been 5.

I received this email:

“[Keystone Wrestling] New customer order (KS4064) – July 12, 2022”

But when I view my orders, that order is not there. I’ve looked inside the database, and that order is nowhere to be found as well. The prefix for the order is different because I use Booster, but even if I disable Booster, that order is still not present. It’s not even in the log, like there’s no entry for that date.

If this order number is 4064, can you access the order edit page from the following URL?
http://www.fanemb.com/keystonewrestling/wp-admin/post.php?post=4064&action=edit

I understand you use PayPal to receive payments. Was this order placed with PayPal? If so, can you replicate the issue?

Lastly, please share if there are any fatal error logs with date/time in WooCommerce > System Status > Logs.

Hi,

When I go to “http://www.fanemb.com/keystonewrestling/wp-admin/post.php?post=4064&action=edit” I get a WordPress error and the page says “You attempted to edit an item that does not exist. Perhaps it was deleted?”. The order was placed through Paypal, and the order did in fact go through because my boss just checked his Paypal account, and it showed the payment.

There are no Fatal Error logs in System Status/Logs….and I don’t believe we can replicate the issue. I actually only have 3 logs (and a test log for some reason, none of them are fatal error logs

Hi @jbalazs8178,

the page says “You attempted to edit an item that does not exist. Perhaps it was deleted?”

You may want to check if that order ended up in the Orders trash page but since your order KS4064 was placed using the Booster for WooCommerce plugin more likely this is something related to a plugin malfunctioning.

We recommend getting in contact with the plugin author and checking with them if there has been a conflict preventing the order from appearing in the WooCommerce Orders dashboard.

In the meantime, while this is being investigated by the plugin developer, we recommend turning off the plugin and using the default WooCommerce order feature that has no reported issues whatsoever.
